Does anyone know if there are shorter poly locks made for lifter adjustment?

I have my lifters adjusted and the poly locks installed and they are 'just' too tall for the valve covers to fully seat and seal.

I have the locks inside all tightened and there is more than .25" depth that is unused. If someone were to make some that were .25" shorter I'd be able to lock them properly and still use my valve covers.

Would it be possible for a machine shop to shave the .25 down and still maintain the integrity of the poly lock if all else fails?

Yes, and I'll look into that if I have to but it'll cost more I think to have that done IF shorter ones are available.

Get out the Milwaukee V28 cordless angle grinder mate.... You wont even need to run a cord out to the car.
