Its all but over now, but youve still got a fair bit of sunday to go over there.

Gave the Corvette a bit of a run on the way home from work, revved it out to 6,000 a few times in second gear, felt the surge of horses running around under the bonnet, and to top that off, blew away another rice burner.....

I'd have to think that if I ever revved my stock L98 that high, I'd have 6 pistons poppin' through the hood.

Well, Mike... to be brutally honest, there just ain't enough air in this world to get a stock L98 to 6k RPM... Short of downshifting from 5th to 2nd... and then you would have all 8 pistons screaming for mercy.

Man... when I read this thread title, I was afraid that Casey had spent some serious $$$.

What is up with all these rice burners lately. 90% of them are stock with window decals and body kits. Then they think they can race a vette or mustang because of the decals

This was a Supra Johnny, he had a stainless steel muffler on it, so i guess that meant it was quick!! Didnt matter one bit what he had on it, i smoked him like a cheap cigar all the same
