Good Morning Gurus!

I was supposed to go to two different Christmas Parties over the weekend. One for my work, and one for my wife's. But she got sick, and we couldn't go to either. Normally I don't like to attend those kinda things, but I was pumped up for these two, for some strange reason. Kind of a bummer.

And with her down for the count, I was taking care of a lot of her stuff around the house. Not much of a weekend, really. I wish she could take some time off work and rest up, but with the holiday season, working retail can be rather unforgiving.

Well, I've got a nasty week ahead of me at work, but I think there are some very sunny skies headed my way, but I will go into detail on that when I know for sure.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Have a super day!

We were invited to a Christmas party by some friends of ours at the Miccosoukie Indian Gaming Resort. The party was great. Good food, music and a visit from Santa. For party gifts, they had drawings for the men and women seperately. I won a $100 Home Depot gift certificate. They played 5 games of Bingo too for prizes of varying amounts. ( $100 or $200.)
After the party my wife and I went down stairs to play.I played the slots and she played poker. It only cost me about $50 an hour to play to play for 8 hours. We left around 08:00 AM. It was a fun time.

I've never had much luck gambling. I am about two scenic hours away from Cripple Creek, Colorado. All KINDS of gambling up there.

I've only been there maybe three times in the eleven years I've lived in Colorado. I just take a roll of quarters, hit the slots, and when they're gone, they're gone. I think I was $60 ahead once, but I ended up feeding them to the machines.

My step-father in-law came out for a visit once. He had never gambled before. Put two quarters in a slot machine and won $500. He thought he broke the machine.

Needless to say, he paid for dinner that night....

Glad you had a good time, Tommy! $400 sounds like an expensive evening to me though! At least you got $100 back!

I dont like gambling unless its the lotto. Anyway, my car is back in the shop for repair. I hope they can get this to shift correctly.

ARGH!

I'd be about ready to drive that car through somebody's shop window about now.

I really would like to do that. This is a new shop. They did the tranny so I really did not know what to expect. There is a tranny shop right beside them, you would think they would go over to them if they had questions
