hey guys i was driving today and i shut my ASR off the light illuminated and all was well. i parked and then the damn light would not illuminate any more. the ASR still comes on and still works just the ASR off light wont work any more it was on when i shut it off. i am thinking the bulb may have blown or do i need a new message panel Thanks Dan. oh i also got my new stage 2 chip today waiting for my 160 t stat to install.

Look at the DIC (Driver Info Center) where the "off" light is then, turn on the key. If the ASR Off light doesn't come on, then it's just the bulb.

If the light comes on for 2 seconds and then goes off, the bulb's Ok. You may have an intermittent connection.

The light doesnt come on i thought it was the bulb is it a special bulb or a pretty standard one. if i have to order it will take a week or more to get do you have a part number by a chance thanks Dan.

ultraman the tpis headers are nice i bought the car with them already installed but i did pull the passenger side when i pulled my head to replace a bent valve. they use the same stock bolts and mine have 2 o2 sensor holes on in the collector and one on top of the tubes i think it was foe emissions. mine are pugged right now. as for the collector it is a slip fit with band clamps so its a nice looking install no bolt you have to worry about or gaskets which i like. i recommend them i would get their coaed ones mine were just painted and its flaking off.

well thanks guys for all the info on the light its working fine today i have a gremlin in this car somewhere. just started working again in the morning all this snow and cold weather is reaking havoc on this car. oh i broke a brand new u joint today have another on the way.
