That is the number for their interconnect data cable.

They used to make a male-to-female extension, nada... the other option is a 20' cable, not if I can avoid it.

Can this cable be cut and lengthened? Or is it some kinda whacky fibre optic thing?

Are they? I honestly don't know, but the website I checked said they are both 11 pin connectors, and they looked the same.

B, I don't have a answer on thet but the wires in a 11 conductor cabme of that size are really small. Have you ever tried to cut $ reconnect a small headphone cable? It's pretty hard to do.

I think I am just going to put it somewhere else.

There is a 20' cable, but that's just stupid... All I need is another 2', not 20!

I have cut cables like this... and they are a pain, like soldering hair, but I have done it.
