Got a recall letter for my Jetta the other day. Seems there's a fuel line that could be rubbing against a flap on the windshield washer bottle. This rubbing could cause the fuel line to be cut which would allow fuel to spray all over the hot engine causing a fire.
Awesome! we don't need no water.... Just thought it was amusing. Unless of course it catches on fire while transporting Corvette parts..not amusing. |

I've had a few recalls on my xterra...most recent is the relay for the control module can go bad and stop the motor while driving. I'm sure it's enough of a concern to get it fixed, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Some of these recalls seem worse than they are, and are preventative in nature.

I'm not too worried about it. I made the appointment for next Wednesday. It has a throw-out bearing noise too so I am trying to get them to fix that while it's still under warranty.
