I'm looking for the best/cheapest place to get a remote/fob for my '95 Vert....It didn't come w/one and I really want to be able to utilize the auto lock/unlock/alarm features. I can't believe most of the sites I looked at (including ebay) want $139 and up....

Welcome to the biggest pain in the ass... PKE - Programmable Keyless Entry... the fobs are junk and used ones aren't worth it.

The ebay prices sound about right.

Compare those to Ecklers and you will start to feel like it's a deal - $199.99.

GMpartsdirect lists that for $103.02 + 24.72 s&h. I'd call Chris May at Superior Chevy in Kansas and see what he can do for you.

Part number for 93-96 verts is 88960924

If a used one would work/be acceptable you can probably get one for way less from one of the vendors like www.vette2vette.com ?

My mom bought me one... Bless her heart for Christmas a few years back. I programmed it and it worked perfectly for about a month and then just quit. I have not had the patience since then to try to trouble shoot.

That is what their going for. I looked diligently on Ebay and checked all the Corvetter vendors. I think I got mine for $139 and I should have just bit the bullet and bought it instead of looking and looking.
