Thinking about freshening, and selling my 5,000 mile, 383 shortblock.
If someone is local (not willing to ship), and is interested, I will sell it.
If not, back in the corner it goes.

Shortblock only, to include:

Cast crank, balanced as stock (neutral nose, external rear)
GM rods with ARP bolts.
Sealed power hyper pistons
Moly rings
Clevite bearings
Balanced
Automatic flexplate.

Installed in 2 bolt, late model 1 pc seal block, with cam bearings, freeze plugs, oil galley plugs, and above mentioned rotating assembly.
*If cylinder bores do not mic exactly where I want them, it will be punched from 4.030 to 4.040.

The above will likely be in the $1200 range.
If any interest, please shoot me an e-mail @ vrodpete@msn.com
My garage is bursting at the seams with spare parts, so I probably should sell some of the spares.
**Located in Northeast Pennsylyania, very close to where interstate 80, and interstate 81 intersect.
Thanks for reading.

I currently have a stout 406 cube motor between the frame rails. In the old days, I would always have a spare engine, as I wanted to be prepared for the next race. Those days are long gone, and I have no need for spare engines.
This was my primary engine from 2005-2010.
I hate to sell things used, so this one will be refreshed to new condition before it moves to it's new home.
