Hi guys,

Can I get some info on the frame (bottom) to the floor (ground) clearence. What is the normal height. I know tire and suspension affect that number. But what is your stock height if it rolled off the factory yesterday.

Thanks for the info.

Every once in a while this question came up, because of Coupe owners wanting to install the cross frame of the convertible, so I once measured my 91 convertible with stock height.

Without the frame it's 13cm metric. Where it's mounted on the side the frame take up 2.3cm, but in the middle of the car it's a little bent and takes up roughly 3cm.
Gives me a ride height of 10cm or roughly a little less than 4 inches.

My (un-lowered '95) frame is 6".

Sorry, misunderstanding on my part.
I measured the ride height from floor to bottom. The chassis should be an inch higher.
On the other hand, if memory serves well, there are no spacers for the x-frame in the front, just 4x about one inch high spacers in the rear, but not 100% sure.

So does that mean it's 6" from the ground to the bottom of the frame? and the body itself is an inch lower?

If you can measure right in front of the rear tire and right behind the front tire, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks guys for all the help.
