I don't think Zora fit into the corperate structure very well.....I need to read the book about him....TB's reading it. There is a good article in Motor Trend Classic this month about Duntov's 1955 EX-87/5951 Mule and his quest for 150 mph with a Corvette......good read......he led quite a life. He packed a Smith and Wesson as a school boy to ward off the bullies from stealing his lunch money.....
Met him a couple of times up at Spearfish but never had any meaningful talk with him.....hell, I was lucky to get out a "Thanks for all you did", I was so amazed to have him look at my 63.......He was walking around early one morning looking at the Concurs cars before they were judged. |
