You know you want to fix something yourself but are short of time (I started the vet on fire). You take it to a good shop and it is promiced in 2-3 day. 2 weeks ago. You give the mechanic a chance to get it ready ( he works on anything but your vehicle. You have it out with him for the 5th time and he says he will have it ready tonight or tomorrow morning/ again. The worst thing is that you could have done the job yourself.

Boy am I stupid some times . Guess what it will be ready in the morning

What happens when you give your mechanic a 928 and tell him "No rush"? And then 10 months goes by and it's still in pieces. It's OK. We're spending his money on the hurricane shutters. Gives me time to build up his money again.

Well it going to be ready last night then this morning at 3:00 putting it together. I saw this part. Go home have dinner come back 6;30 Mechenic truck not ther owner my friend working on vehicle . When the mechanic started it up funny sound. Mechanic gets pissed takes off. Owner pulling plugs finds water in cylinder. Pumpes it up with pump on radiator puts scope in cylinder and taking water. Mechanic just replaced intake gaskets.

I am on the hard stuff now I bought a coca cola.

Should have heads off and in the machine shop by monday. Did a leak down test so you can guess the results. Weird goes in shop plugs show no sigh of water in #5, engine hasn't over heated, and this morning there is a lot of water in the cylinder. Switching mechanics the owner an old friend will work on it. He has a bad back is old like me it will be in the 100+ here starting this weekend. I owe him a lot for offering to work on it. May be it will just be a head gasket. lol

I am not going to ask him when it will be done.

Lol

This may be enough Beer to get me through the weekend

Looks like she will be done tomorrow. Had a blown head gasket, a valve that didn't seat well. Took it to the machine shop they tested it, fixed it, and milled the heads.

XX my fingers John will dyno tune it in the morning and it should be back home.

I am flogging a dead horse but I say stop being lazy and fix it yourself. Every day since I got it back it too longer and longer to get engine to start as it was starved for fule. It would hold pressure for about an hour. I talked to someone at the shop and they told me it was probally loseing presure through an injector. It got worse and it was 106 today. I knew exactly what the problem was going to be. I have stainless steel gas lines and I was certain at the rail they would be loose.

I have got to stop paying others to fix my vehicle. Loose line.

Need another drink!!!
