OK. I don't want to gut my stock BOSE system because I plan on moving to a 427 C6 in a year or two.

BUT, I spoke with Double D mods and I can upgrade the door speakers, back speakers and an amp and two subs to the rear.

Anybody on here do a BOSE speaker upgrade and kept the BOSE head unit?

Was the improvement worth the effort?

The C6 has a totally different layout than the C4 did... and that might be good... it might be bad...

Here is the thing... upgrade the speakers, if it still sucks, you needed to upgrade them anyway.

My plan, ever changing is this.

1. Buy top notch door separates & *amp.
2. Dump the rear speakers.
3. Buy 2 subs and amp

The amp would probably be a 5 channel for the separates and sub
