My car has a water leak some where and it is soaking the carpet on the door panels and the carpet that is on the very high door seals on a C 4. Any idea where this water could be coming from?

Is it occurring on both sides? First guess is the window is not sealing against the weatherstrip and allowing a leak. Close the windows/doors and use a hose to try to isolate the entry point.

Yes it is on both sides of the car. I put new door weather stripping on the doors. I am not sure where it is coming in all the other weather stripping looks to be in good shape.

Very tough to track down leaks on the C4s, I've had wet carpets on the driver's side of my '91 for a long time even after all new weatherstrip.

Need to get inside while someone hoses down the top and see where the leak is coming in, so many possible points of entry.

The weatherstripping that is on the door next to the door panels I think is my problem , they look good but they must be letting water into the door and then it is coming through the lower carpet on the door and soaking the door seal carpet. Do the doors on a C 4 have a lower drain for water intrusion into the lower part of the doors? Are do they just have a plastic sheet on the inside of the door to keep water out?

There should be a plastic sheet, I don't recall any drain holes.
