Hello Everyone,

Trying to complete a project that is long overdue. Just a quick recap: back last year my father and I undertook a rebuild on a 90 Corvette. The car had been in a fire. The engine was trashed and everything was burnt up. Back in February of this year my father underwent surgery which took him off this project and I started a new 6 day a week job. During the summer we took turns attempting to complete the project but that only made things more complicated. The car looks like its 95% complete but I am not confident in the routing of the coolant hoses and have no idea how to route the vacuum lines. This is the last real piece of the puzzle holding us up. I know it will be difficult to determine if everything is correct on the car through. Hell, we have the car in front of us and we can't figure it out. But it is my hope some guru who has done a mini ram swap will be able to look at the coolant hoses and vacuum lines in the photos and let us know how we can complete this properly.

My father blocked off one of the coolant hoses with a bolt. He states that it doesn't go anywhere. I know if it is there, it must go somewhere. This concerns me. Also the routing of the hoses from the heater core to the coolant overflow tank and radiator concern me. I am not sure if they are connected correctly. As for the vacuum lines.... his guess is as good as mine. Don't know how to connect them up or what they are for. Please take a look at the photos below and let me know what you think.

Attached is also a ridiculous video. Couldn't figure out any other way to give you a proper overview.

I have FSM for '90 - are you needing cooling system schematic, or vac line schematic? Both?

I am on my phone so can't inspect the pictures too well. I agree there should be no extra coolant hose with a bolt in it! Did you previously have and then delete the oil cooler option?

If you used the miniram, does that require a remote thermostat housing?

Both Please! I have been looking online for quite a while and can't seem to find any schematics that help. That would be great. Thanks!

Hose #5 is the one that is plugged off. Any idea where that would have gone and if it should be routed somewhere else or if it's ok plugged off?
