I'm going to have some custom cut and need the factory measurements for a baseline.

From grandsportregistry.com

12. Q: What is the GM part number for the Grand Sport Hashmarks decal & its dimensions?

The GM part number is 10279781 (GM LIST: $39.57), listed at "STRIPE, F/FDR WHL OPG" and each stripe is slightly different. The left (front most) stripe is 2-13/16" wide while the right (rear most) is 2-11/16" wide. Each is approximately 8-7/8" long and they are spaced 3/4" apart. Torch Red is a perfect match in color.

Note: As of 10/07, this item is still available from GM but in limited supply.

GM Parts Direct says they are no longer available. That's a bummer. Does anyone know if the stripes MidAmerica and Corvette Central sell are factory replacements?

Don't give up so quick. Just because the part is no longer listed on GMPD does not mean all hope is lost. The part may be sitting on a dealer's parts department shelf somewhere.

Contact a dealer and ask them to do a dealership search for that part. If the part is found, the seach will tell which dealer has the part in stock and you can call that dealer's parts dept directly to have it shipped to you!

I got mine from MAXX WRENCH a few months ago, $35 i think it was.

Give him a call and see if he can get you one. If youre going to make copies, the only way to be sure its accurate is copy the Genuine artical.

Thanks Case,

I'll still try to get one here rather than OCONUS, if I have a problem I'll give Maxwrench a holler via email.
