In the news the last couple days, there's been headlines about passport files being breached.
What is in one's passport file? What benefit is there to breach security and read someone's passport file? I imagine if you want to forge a passport it could be useful, but for anything else?  |

I don't think that has anything to do with it. Candidates from both parties have been breached as well as regular citizens. Seems odd to me.
