Nice, I got to get some C5 calpers and do the conversion. I am going to go with the powder coat option.

I have a 1996 CE, can anyone tell me if the rear brake calipers should say CORVETTE on them as the front ones do?

No they don't. I wish they did. TO be honest I didn't know the CE's had them on the front. I thought it was just the Grand Sports. The rears are the normal stock ones. I have heard, however that there is an adapter out there somewhere to put them on the rear.

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks for the info, I will look into it. The CE I owned has not been modified cosmetically or otherwise, to my knowledge and it has them on the front. Black calipers with raised "CORVETTE" lettering on them (Silver).

Early C4 calipers are butt ugly, just a bunch of ribs (cooling fins), no lettering. Painted mine gloss black so they wouldn't stand out to much.

Thanks!
I've had her ever since 1991! I was the 2nd owner. Always garage kept and lots of wax!
When I parked outside at work I used a car cover to keep the Texas heat/sun off the paint!

Have a good one!
