Sorry, no pictures, but I put my car cover on my car for about 12 hours a coouple of days ago to protect it from hail. Today when I finally got my car in the garage, I noticed hundred of round spots where there are tiny little bubbles in the paint?

What could cause this? It never got hot or sunny while the cover was on. The only way to fix is a repaint I'm betting huh?

Have you washed it?

Another concern... was the hood repainted recently?

Are the bubbles in the paint itself or on the surface, like water marks/water spots?

Haven't washed it since the cover was on, but i'm in the process of washing it right now. The bubbles are in the paint itself.

What's really weird, is that they are starting to fade. They aren't disappearing, but they are getting harder to see.

Also, when i was drying it off, I would notice that when I would dry up a bead of water, under that bead was a bubbled area that is the same shape as the bead of water was. Maybe something was in the rain, or something was on the cover that mixed with the rainwater?

Oh ya, and nothing has been repainted recently, or even ever as far as I am aware.

it sounds like the cover weaped something... I would wash and wax. I don't think it's serious.
