Good evening CGs!
How was everyone's first day back at work? It was another hot one here in Chitown. Got my SLP runners from fedex today. I haven't opened it up, but I'm excited  I also got the note from Rich/Jon that my injectors will be shipping out, too.I'm off Thursday, and my buddy is supposed to come over and tinker on the vette with me. That is, of course, if the baby wants to cooperate since I've got her all day til mama comes home from work.....lol. I don't think I'll have time to get all of the intake/plenum work done, but I'm considering new rotors and bleeding the rear brakes. We'll see how much gets done. And I was disappointed there were no guesses on yesterday's trivia....the answer was Seattle. So how was everyone else's day??? Well Shit... I was gonna say Seattle. I didn't really know, but I remember they had to catch a boat to get to that professor's place... I shoulda guessed.
My guess for today is "Velvet Revolver" with Slash from Guns 'N' Roses. |

Summer has come to an abrupt halt here - yesterday it was muggy and mid-80's, and now it looks like it's gonna struggle to get to 70 for the next 10 days. Just a reminder that the time to put away the Vette will come too soon.

Hey all, I'm back in from the garage and caught up on JSUP's threads.
It was a boring day at work, nobody was in. They all had extended holidays evidently. I got home and started wrestling with the fans and shroud. Got them in place and started to scrounge through the last of the bag and tags. I lost a bunch of the screws that mount the fan shroud to the top shroud. I need some more.. like now. I hope I can find some in the HELP section at Advance Auto tomorrow. or Maybe I'll try the Chevy Dealer first on the way home from work. Oh well, I'm fried and done for the day. |
