We took the German Corvettes for a spin. I took it literally. I was coming in hot into the deceleration area and applied the brakes a little to scrub some speed. Eeeuuuuuuurrrrrtttttt. Took out about a half dozen cones and the stop clock mechanism. Everybody lost a run because they had to run new cable and reset the timers. Can't say I wasn't trying though. I wiped out on my fastest run. I was getting sideways a little more than usual today. Finally got better times than my wife.
 At the end of the day they gave me an award. A mini-cone that said. I Beat My Wife Today October 26,2008. That's it for the PCA season. Kicks off again in January. February autocross is at Sebring out by turns 15/16. Only one Vette out there today. A C4. Turned in some pretty fast times. Top 10 for sure. |
