One of the first concerts I went to was to see The Who in '71 when they toured after releasing Who's Next. My ears are still ringing - LOL!

I saw them in the Music Hall in Boston around the same time. Before the show, we went to the Boston common to buy some herbal supplements. In the dark, in a hasty transaction, the purveyor provided us with 100% organic oregano. I was up in the upper balcony and it was deafening. No wonder Peter Townsend was hearing impaired. Two encores and the grand finale bass smashing .........
Awesome. Saw them again in the mid seventies at the Olympic Dome in Munich. Great times. |

It's funny, even though "Won't Get Fooled Again" has been played to death and beyond, if I was on a deserted island, I'd still want a copy with an amp that goes to 11.
