We went to Sam's Club on Saturday.
They have Channel Lock gear drive wrench sets, 7 piece, for $23.00. I have two other sets of these, metric and standard. I think they are Gear Drive brand, tho... either way, it's a killer deal. These are made in Taiwan. I have had hand tools made in Taiwan in the past and they do a very nice job. |

Hmmm, might have to renew my membership, haven't been there in ages. I remember the first time we went - I was mesmerized by the enormous cereal boxes and 55-gallon drums of licorice. We loaded up 2 carts full (not realizing they don't have any bags to put your stuff in). When we got to the checkout counter, the gal says, "This is your first time here, isn't it?" - LMAO!

I like the Geardrive wrenches. I picked up the 7 piece std. and the 9 piece metric GearWrench sets at Sears on sale for the same price.
I just wish they'ed pit the locking swivel head ones on sale for a reasonable price. They want $110 for the set - insane. |
