50 something and sunny with clear roads here today so I got up early and drove the '71 thirty miles each way to work and back.

I feel sorry for the folks that have to (or feel they have to) pickle their Corvettes for the winter.

Mine may be pickled but I feel better about taking it apart in the winter to work on the things that I decide to do during the summer. Always new projects...best to do them in the winter when it's too bad to drive it.

Road salt is not to big of a problem around here its the small stones they cover the roads with, my daily looks like it was blasted with a shotgun not to mention a few windshields every time inspection rolls around. I cant wait until the spring arrives

I hate the lava-rock looking stuff they throw on the roads here.

Mercifully it's been a real non-occurrance of a winter here so far.
