I need a radio that will fit my cluster and don't want to cut the panel. Who has used replacement radios and what do you like.
Thanks
John

Welcome jfleye!

I have a Custom Autosound unit with a CD changer, both about 6 years old. I've had issues with both, and I wouldn't buy them again.

RetroSound makes a similar unit, but I haven't heard any opinions on it.

Welcome aboard!

I moved this to Audio.

I am not a fan of Custom Autosound. It's old school equipment resold at a premium price. And it just doesn't sound all that good.

This is a pricy solution, but... http://www.corvette-paragon.com/p-351 ... sole-gauge-bezel-kit.aspx

Or... http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=A2149&dept_id=1650

Either way... get the repop and hack it to death, preserving the OEM part.

You might even find something on ebay.
