Went to Wal-Mart today, parked in the employees lot away from all the traffic. do this because i feel it is the safest place for my baby. Well I come out and theres a lady standing there looking at my car. She says someone backed into it. sure enuff a damn mexican beaner with no insurance, no drivers licence has backed into it with a datsun pickup. what made it really nasty was he had the tailgate down and thats what got me. started on the edge of the fender in front of the right front wheel well and jumped upon the hood. made a terrible looking gouge in it. cracked it all the way thru. Cop asked me what i wanted to do ? what can i do ? kid doesnt have a dime to his name so i guess im SOL ![/img]

That was my first thought, has some good blacktop grabbers stuck under those wheel wells.

What bothers me the most is interstate driving. When i cross a bridge and drop off the expansion joints it always kicks in. Kinda unerving when you have a semi right on your butt and the asr kicks in !

Spent yesterday putting new floor panels in the 76 that im rebuilding, question is : why after an 8 year run on the c3 body style did they decide to put the floor pans in ? just wondering !

as a c3 & c4 owner i dont mind a c4 exclusive forum at all. there are plenty of places to gather c3 info. but it is nice to be able to share experience and knowledge of other vettes besides the c4. personally id welcome other gens on this forum . After all it is the love of the car that brings us together.

my 93 has a squeak in the right hand upper part of the dash . sounds like it is near the windshield, around the glovebox area. any ideas what it might be. only does it when the car is cold which makes it kinda hard to find.
