Shooting 357 mag will kick more . Use wad cutters as you get use to the gun. In my academy.we.shot.a minimum of 1000 rounds getting use to the weapon.

Looks like great weather all weekend. It's amazing how companies like Amazon and summit can get parts to your door. All the parts needed to do the complete job will be here by Sunday. First part arrives today and the parts I ordered last night Sunday. The price is lower than I can buy locally. Best of all no shipping charge

I followed your advice and the rotor was back to being hard to turn.
Summit had a good price on calipers so I bought both left and right.
They will be here tomorrow.

Passenger side front pads half the size of drivers side. A light drag on rotor on drivers side. How much drag should I feel?
What the difference between not loaded and semi loaded caliper.

I agree on the hawk pads they are worth the money. When it cool /100/ down tonight I check drivers side. Then move to the back. The drivers side drags by hand with the tire on. Pretty stiff just turning rotor.

I am assuming that the lack of fluid caused the pads to ware improperly. I have only removed one wheel that I saw at the shop so far. I am home with my baby now. On the inside passenger side there is almost no pad left. The other side of the rotor the pad is just fine. The rust is because I washed crap off the fender wells. The rotor may not be usable . What is the minimal ware on the rotors does anyone know off hand. Not sure whether to replace the pads and see how they ware or what. I will have time to access what other damage there is .
The double reservoir replaced the 87 corvette single without a problem.

These are Hawk pads and new rotors put on at the same time . less than 20,000 miles on them

Just a note the brake lights would stay on until I lifted the pedal.

Love to shoot. Kern County Gun Club is 6 miles from my house.
My problem is trap shooter got in an argument and vowed never to return.
Well I love to shoot. Practice by yourself sucks. Got permission to start trap league. Have 9 trap 12 skeet 5 stand clays. getting zz bird set up.
No tournament here yet but I will change that so I have to trave to clubs like North Hollywood , Oak tree Santa Maria

Setting up for the trap league I run at KCGC. Great group of shooters. House is ready for my dad's visit. Weather is nice so play day for me.

Just looked them up at tire rack. That is a deal.
Everyone else was way over $100. And $100+ to rebuild.
