Morning guys...another cool morning here and loving every minute of it. Got another 1/2" of rain yesterday. Things are getting nice a wet around here.

Headed to the shop to work on some things. Doors open again today, I like that.

First football game for the high school team tonight, it's at home and I'm running the clock again this year. So I have my evening planned.

This time next week we will be headed west to the mountains for several days. Looking forward to that.

Have a great day guys.

Greetings! We're heading up to my son's a little later. We're bringing him a small refrigerator we don't use anymore. It fit in my wife's RDX, but would've looked pretty funny hanging out of the back of the Vette, so the RDX it is.

Have a safe and festive Labor Day weekend, yawlz!

I can't remember if you rebuilt that spring or not Bill....or even if you can rebuild it.....its cleaned up nice.....

I remember the rear spring on my 63 was toast so I bought a new spring then the rear end of the car sat up way to much...and I can't remember what we did to get it lower.....hmmm.......

I did take it apart to clean & paint but it was a brand new Eaton correct reproduction. The "correct" part costs $100 extra.

All the new springs sit high, it takes 500 to 1,000 miles for them to sit lower, close to the correct ride height. And shortening up the length of the spring bolts will lower a C2 thru C4 but you usually have to get bolts with more thread than stock.

The original was shot, I even put an extra leaf in it back when I was driving the car.

Also put in new front coil springs. Everything on the frame is new or restored to new.

Got the 83 911 back today after a $#!+load of work done. Runs great. Seeing I've had it 8 years now I guess it was do for some freshening up. More on that later. Busy, busy, busy.

We got our arse handed to us in the ball game tonight. But I will say the boys didn't give up, even when the handwriting was on the wall.

Worked on the headboard and nightstands today. Solid yellow pine.
