Up early with the dogs. We had almost 2" of rain yesterday and it was great. I drove the GS to the game and it rained on it and I did not even care....because silver rarely looks dirty.....

The Huskers prevailed over their hapless foes last night on a perfect opening night weather wise......good time...traffic on 80 was bumper to bumper coming home....so many folks travel to the games here.

Gris sorry to hear the hunt was a bust. I know that is a fun time for you and the family......maybe next year.....

Today I can't mow so I must just hang out and do some napping and watch some sports and eat snacks.......sounds good to me.

I'm here. Wife took the kids along with her father to the County Fairground a couple counties over for the livestock show/market. He'll get some chickens for soup and the kids get to play around and see the animals. I've got the house back in order for the morning and sitting and relaxing a bit. Probably stop by my buddy's house later and see what he's up to.

Morning guys....cool this morning, but headed toward the low 90s. Speaking of dove hunting, we have seen a huge influx of doves into town. They must not like getting shot at! Who knew? I'd loke to shoot those bastards, sitting in the trees outside our bedroom window, noisy, filthy bastards.

Going out to the shop here in a bit to do a little work, since I didn't get much done yesterday, due to our trip to the 'city'.

Howdy! Had a nice visit with my son and his GF - traffic getting up there and back was atrocious. When we got back yesterday, we went to a friend's end-of-season pool party. It was too chilly to swim, though - a touch of fall in the air. Meanwhile, lots of buzz about the Vikings' trade to get Bradford.

Right at 7am Marcus. I worked in the shop until about 2:30 this afternoon. I finished up the headboard, well at least ready for stain and finish, the fabrication is done. I also got everything done on the nightstands, except the drawers. It has gotten hot and I was sweating pretty good. I didn't turn the AC on because I thought the south breeze coming through would be enough and when I figured it out, otherwise, it was just too late to do it.
