Nice deal, Tommy - hope you can parlay that into enough to buy one of these:

Howdy! Looks like it will be a cloudy afternoon for golf. No biggie unless the clouds are dumping stuff on us.

Have a good day, all!

Greetings! Gloomy-looking out there, and it is supposed to rain later. Working from home - Spectrum is coming out later to swap out my modem, since my innerweb crapped out 3 times yesterday. And I have a guy coming out to see about trimming some dead branches off one of our trees. Some of them are 25-30 feet up, I don't feel like a daredevil anymore.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Howdy! Went out and trimmed some shrubbery while waiting for the yard to dry out enough to mow. Gotta get that done before we get more rain tomorrow. Life in the fast lane!

Have fun, Gurus!

Greetings! Nice to sleep in - it is always good to do something you excel at. Dreary-looking day out there, spitting some rain every now and then.

Hope the girls have a great trip, Marcus!

Howdy! Had another very busy day. A nice coma sounds appealing.

Glad the 928 won the battle, Tommy.

Howdy! I was swamped yesterday, more of the same today. But I did take the top off the Vette - I don't think I did that at all last year. Felt good to have the wind blowing through my hair scalp again. Meanwhile, I'll be counting down to tee-time later this afternoon.

Have a good day, all!

Sounds like a fun day despite your disappointment, Marcus! Maybe the ZR1 guy had the parking brake on ;-)

I saw a nice white C7 today, and was thinking it would've made a dandy-looking Firebird Trans-Am.

Greetings! Looks like no rain today, so I'll likely wind up standing in front of the BBQ later. And the next couple of days look promising as well - the Vette hasn't seen the light of day for over a week, so it's time.

Funny, Tommy - when I was a kid, we used to always go to the junkyard to see the wrecks, too. Not sure why we always found them so fascinating, but we did.

Have a great day, Gurus!

Happy 50th, John - very cool pics, looks like you certainly did it up right!

I attempted to play golf this morning - sprinkles turned into a deluge with thunder and lightning, so we got rained out after 4 holes. Oh well, we got a rain check to use under more favorable conditions soon.

Hidey-ho! Busy again, but I'm working from home, and the morning is flying by. Meanwhile, I have a theory that maple trees are plotting to take over the earth. Good lawd, the seeds are unreal this year.

Happy 92nd Birthday to Tommy's mom!

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Happy Memorial Day, Gurus! We went out to Fort Snelling National Cemetery yesterday - always sobering to see the endless rows of white stones. RIP, and gratitude to all who served.

They are saying it'll be 99 today - we're going to go partake in a friend's pool later. Just doing a few light chores this morning produced projectile sweating.

Keep cool, yawlz!

Greetings! Gonna be toasty again today, 97 or so. I'm planning to BBQ later - I could probably just set the meat on the grill now and it would be done by dinner time. Meanwhile, we'll be heading out to the cemeteries shortly.

Enjoy your day, Gurus, and I hope Bill has an eternity of DNBFS.

Greetings! We had a real gully-washer last night - I got up a couple time to make sure the deck furniture and garbage cans weren't blowing away. I expected to see Noah floating by. But all is well, and we needed to get some rain before the weekend - it'll be in the mid 90's. That should take some of the frozen out of the tundra.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Howdy! Last work day of the week for me. That I'm aware of, anyway. We have a heat wave - it's gonna be 90-ish for the next several days. I would prefer a more gradual transition into summer.

Letty, hope your head feels better soon - that would be annoying as hell.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Howdy! I decided to work from home today, so maybe I'll take the Vette for a spin at lunchtime, since it is supposed to be 80 and at least partly sunny. Meanwhile, I will mark time until golf league.

Howdy! I was gonna drive the Vette today, but saw there is a chance of showers, so I didn't want to risk it melting. Maybe tomorrow - and if I do, I think I'll pop the top.

Good times, Tommy - I wish people got to laugh like that more often, the world would be a better place. I've always thought the best thing a boss can do is stay the hell out of the way and let people do their jobs, and remove whatever obstacles are in their way.

Greetings! It's Mrs. Pianoguy's birthday today, so my chores will be whatever she chooses, followed by dinner out with the family. Of course, since it is someone's birthday, I imagine the tab will wind up in front of me. At least it is nice and sunny today, quite unlike yesterday.

Greetings! Mrs. Pianoguy informed me at 10AM that it was time to awake from my coma. Supposed to be cloudy and cool, so ideal for yard work. Can't wait to get started. Meanwhile, today marks 2 months with no cable TV or land line. I don't miss either one.

Mojo for your pooch, Matt!

Have fun, Gurus!

Greetings! Started the day with a dental appointment (just a cleaning), then got sucked in to meetings as soon as I returned. Ducky. Oh well, it is nice and sunny, hope I'll get to enjoy some of it later.

Wow, time flies, Matt! Birthday dinner out in the Vette will make a great memory for her.

Howdy! I worked almost 16 hours yesterday, and am going to the dentist this morning, so it's nothing but fun here. At least it is semi-sunny and will be in the 80's, for those who can get outdoors.

Greetings! It's gonna be 78 and sunny, so I'll begin my countdown to golf league now - looking forward to getting out of here. I left the Vette in the garage, since the roads were still all wet from last night's rain. They melt if they get wet, you know.

Howdy! Since nothing much got accomplished after it started raining yesterday, there are still plenty of chores to do. It's nice and sunny now, so I'll have to see which ones are on Mrs. Pianoguy's wish list after the family goes to brunch.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Guru mothers!

Well, progress on chores has been halted by rainus interruptus. Perhaps I will improvise by invoking napus maximus.

Happy Friday! In the past week, it's been in the 80's, 70's, 60's, and today it "might" get to 50. And it will be 83 on Monday. Variety is the spice of life. Or some kind of spice. Whatever it is, it is giving me heartburn.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Howdy! Looks like it will be sunny for a while today, but I was in too much of a hurry to do the driveway shuffle to get the Vette out. Meanwhile, the day is starting out with constant interruptions and an impending meeting. Ick.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Greetings! Been getting pestered to death all morning - sheesh! Golf last night was wet and mediocre, but I managed to eke out a victory.

Tom, she will always be your baby girl, regardless of age.

Have a good day, all!

Howdy! Been busy since the git-go. I see it has spit a little rain out there, supposedly more is on the way. Looks like if golf happens tonight, it may very well involve a rain suit.

Have a good day, all!

Greetings! I just got back from getting a root canal - fortunately they were able to get me in right away. Now I'm gonna get some shut-eye, since there hasn't been a whole lot of that the last few days.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Howdy! Gonna see if I can function long enough to mow and fertilize. Lots to do, and I have accomplished nothing so far this weekend.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Howdy - I will be spending the weekend fending off a toothache. My first stop on Monday will be to get a root canal. Sofa king fun!

Have a great vacation, Tommy!

Enjoy your day, Gurus

Greetings! Nice and sunny, so I dragged the Vette out of the garage for the first time since I brought it home. I should've popped the top, too - I'll have to put that on my agenda.

May the 4th be with you :P

Hidey-ho! Busy as all getout so far, the day will zip by at this rate. I will need to redouble my efforts to squeeze in a nap later.

Have a good day, Gurus!
