Thanks for the wonderful prizes. I will hopefully wear them in good health. The T-shirt, hoodie, buttons and stick ons are all first rate. It was a really great time playing Thursday Night Trivia and hope to keep the competition on their toes in future game pursuits. Thanks to all who competed for letting me win.

When I was drinking, a move was just another reason to drink. Like fishing and races and eating. When I stopped drinking, helping people move lost its luster.

I'm talking about for Guru gatherings not a state break down. Tampa and Orlando is a 4+ hour drive for me. That's 8+ hours of driving to have a freakin breakfast or lunch. If the guys from Palm Beach come down and the guys from Miami go up, and the guys from Fort Lauderdale stay where their at, we can have a meeting in the Southeast. One day I have to go hook up with Shadow and his crew over by Tampa/St Pete. That's an overnighter at my sisters or mothers place for sure. That's what I'm talkin about Willis!

Well, I was so worried about not picking the same drivers early in the game that I pretty much shot myself in the foot. The drivers I have put in so far are killing me. Drivers not entering, good former series champions driving like their on crack. All I can say is .... WTF.

Gold Coast PCA has an autocross at the Bank Atlantic Center on April 20th 2008. They do allow cars other than Porsche in a group known as X-Class. It's an early Sunday morning event with registration open at 07:30 AM and first car out at 09:00 AM. (8 runs)

On April 27th 2008, Equipe Rapide Sports Car Club has an autocross slated for Homestead at the speedway. Not sure if they're using part of the road course or a parking lot.(4 runs)
There are big turnouts for these events. Both orginizations have web sites (for additional info) and both require pre-registration. Gold Coast through driverregistration.com. ER through their website.

PM me if you have any questions. I'm a novice driver but I'll answer what I can.

There is a Corvette Meet at Tower Shops 1986 S. University Dr. Davie, Florida on April 13th at 12:00 noon. Course there would be Corvettes of all generations so it would be only fitting that C4 guys would wear black since we are the black sheep of the Corvette family. I have to check my busy schedule to make sure I can go.

Florida guys - if you want to do a gathering, pick a spot that is central to as many as possible and then schedule it! It really isn't that hard.

Andy, In case you didn't notice. Florida is a big, long state. I think we'll have to do it in regions. Like Southeast, Southwest, Central, Northeast and the Northwest can drag in the good ole boys from Bama and Joeja.

Trying to complile a list of members in Southeast Florida who may be interested in doing a Sunday lunch/brunch. If you're interested check in.If you have a good meeting place suggestion or know an event we could hook up at, introduce it into the thread . Let's see what we can cook up.

I talked with my doctors and my probation officer and they all said it would be O.K. as long as I stayed on my meds. There is an all you can eat Chinese buffet on Pines/Hollywood Blvd in Ft Lauderdale by the Perry Airport. That would be pretty good for a Sunday lunch. Ft Lauderdale would be middle ground and a breakfast buffet or a Hooters or something would be cool. Sunday is the best day for me because I work Saturdays as long and as it's not on an autocross weekend. The wife likes to go to these things too.Maybe take both the vettes. Other clubs have events also. We could just hook up at a sponsored event. If I find something that would be accommodating I'll post it in regional. Too Hott is a So Fl. member also. You could always just PM each other that way I'd never know.

Dixon wins . Kanaan gets tied up in wreck with about 7 to go. He clearly had the best running car at that stage of the race. Danika finished.

Gosh darn it! I went to check up on the picks because I made them 1 1/2 weeks ago and was going to update. Blanked, friggin blanked. Mark Martin and Dale Jarret NE. Now I'm carrying dead wood. Couldn't change the picks. I guess I'm racing to the bottom of the team points.
