Great pics Andy! I wish I could have went with you. I sure miss going to shows with you guys. Great looking Corvettes at the shows and you do such a good job at taking pictures and getting the shots.

I read an article on that car before. I believe it was done prior to the '68 year and introduction of the C3. Technically it would be a '68

Thanks for posting the pics. When is the green machine showing up? Making new friends for you must be pretty easy, believe me I know...anyway thanks for posting and sounds like everything is going well up there...later and take care.

Hey Dale. The Corvette got here safe and sound yesterday. I washed it off and gave it a nice detail and took it for it's first NY cruise. It sure got some attention up here.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be back next year in Columbia for the Corvette Cup to visit. I hope you and your wife can make it again as I had a blast hanging out with you. I'll be Corvette-less but it sure will be nice to see all my Corvette buddies again.

Thanks guys. There is some tough competition up here but I think the green machine would hold it's own.

I did make some new friends. I wore my green "Corvette Guru" shirt. I hope some of the guys I talked to check out the site.

Just got back from a car show here in New York. It was on the shores of Oneida Lake. Record turn out of 504 cars showed up despite the early rain. My car is still in transit or I would have taken it. Here's a few pics of the show.

Below is some details on a pretty good size Corvette show coming up near me here in New York. Unfortunately, my Corvette will still be in transit with the moving company so I won't be able to take it. Any Guru's up this way going?

July 25: 15th Annual Vettes at the Beach (Sylvan Beach). Corvette Show.
In the Village Park, 9am to 4pm. Largest single day show in the Northeast with past shows attracting over 470 Corvettes. There will be dash plaques, goodie bags, awards, t-shirts, door prizes, and your favorite oldies playing all day long. Sponsored by The Syracuse Corvette Club, Crews Automotive, Hayden Jewelers, Big Four Tires, Sweet Inspirations,Gary Enck's Car Store, Napa-Lights Auto Body, J Romano Chevrolet & The Sylvan-Verona Beach Resort Assoc. For info, call Jon Smith 668-7586.

I went to try and get one this weekend, but the three Verizon locations I went to were sold out. I guess I'll just wait a few more weeks.

The roads leading up to through the park are amazing. tight turns in multiple order and some nice long straightaways. Now I am kicking myself for getting rid of the C4. The Saab was fun and handled well, but nothing like the C4 would have done.

There are a couple car clubs up this way. A couple guys I work with have some hotrods. The closest all Corvette club is in Syracuse which is about 45 minutes away.

Took a drive today up through the Adirondack state park about an hour north of me here in up-state New York. Stopped in Old Forge to check it out. Great little town with a lot of history. There was a car show going on while I was there as well. Took a few pics. Beautiful drive going up through the Adirondacks. The weather was outstanding today as it got up to 90

Looked like a good turn out. Wish I could have been there!

The "Bling" stereo I'm sure sounded good, but in the forth picture down the box layout and the wire design looks bad. I would have spent a little more time with the presentation and design. Just looks sloppy!

I will sure miss you and all the guys as well. You've been a great friend and it has been a pleasure to get to know you. Plus that's one bad banana you have!

Made it to New York today. Yesterday was a long one. I took off from Columbia Mo and ended up in Erie Pa. Took me just over 11 hours. Finished the rest of the trip today. Took the wife's Saab and it made just over 30 MPG! The area up here is very beautiful. I plan on taking a road trip up through the Adirondack Mountain range tomorrow after I go look at a house in the morning. Wish I had the Corvette with me as the roads here would be fun! Soon........

No you don't. A bank can't get blood from a turnip. The banks took careless risks in their lending practices to make money. The banks didn't care because there's no real negative consequences to their actions.

I bought a house that was overvalued due to speculators. I bought it because I wanted a place to live, not because I wanted to get rich off appreciation. I see NO dignity in paying a bank more than something is worth simply because of real estate speculators or feeling bad about leaving the bank out to dry which is my legal right (with some consequences) over some risky decisions that they should have anticipated when writing a 102% loan.

Even if you do blame the homeowner, or blame some guy doing a "strategic default", fine, but it's a waste of time.

Now if you actually expect to see what you deem abusive immoral come to a stop, you have to put some consequences in place, for the borrowers, for the lenders, and for the goverment that bails them out.

Amen Kevin. I agree.............couldn't have out it any better!

Hey Bob, good luck. Chevelle's have always been my favorites too. A close 2nd to owning a Corvette. If you get it, keep us posted on the progress.
