cant seem to find one. i know could try rotating my current one 180deg, but i kind of broke the connector on it and the
wire is held on there w/a zip tie, so i might as well replace it.the p/n is #25007308.

called another shop reccomended by my mechanic at work-- same price, 650 + parts, which they have or can get from the dealership.

im thinking about taking out the diff. and just brining it to them and have them install the ring and pinion to save money.

how hard is it to do?
ill have to change the drive gear, so ill have to remove the tail housing-- how hard is that?

yes, 650 for just the labor-- too much? the place specializes in 4wd and off road

90000 miles on the rear (i assume, bought the car used)

will my top speed be limited to what i can do in 3rd -- 132mph, or will it go faster if i shift into 4th (overdrive)-- 188mph? 132mph is plenty fast, just curious about what will happen when i change gear ratios.

throttle body is a reconditioned stock bored to 52mm

exhaust has been changed as well -- hedman elite long tube headers with pypes 2 1/2" true dual with x pipe, no cats

should have filled out my signature earlier

thanks for the response!

the engine has:

350 cubic in.
cut air lid
k/n filter
52mm throttle body
miniram 1204 port size
afr eliminator heads 180cc port, 58cc chamber
1.65 ratio roller rockers
compcams 280xfi hyd roller cam 230/236@.05 113lsa
total lift=.596/.591
thats all i can remember for now

mileage is not that important
i have been driving in D (3rd) on the freeway, to simulate the lower gear. it didn't seem to make that much difference at least in the instant mpg reading

the cam/miniram combo seems to come alive around 2500-3000rpms

i thought the gears might help a little around town

i will be going from 2.73 to 3.75 gears with my miniram, auto combo. the cam is a cc 280xfi hyd roller. i usually shift it @6k. it's a d/d w/ some hwy use but mostly city driving.
just curious how it worked out for others who have it.
any comments are appreciated
