Dayum, you're not gonna be sneaking in late with that exhaust

Yeah, at WOT it shakes the trees, but cruising its not bad at all. I get compliments all the time.

Its the ecklers chambered cat back, no mufflers. I'm a little worried that it might be a bit too loud once I get long tubes. I would love to go with a B&B, but that is a lot of money for an exhaust.

Oh and Florida, of which I am a native, we refer to as "God's waiting room."

Was wondering if anyone wanted to play some COD4 or Forza2 or something to pass the time heh.

for the street I LOVE Powerslot , but they are pricy. For the road track, hook up the cheapest blanks you can get your hands on haha.

I hate digging up old threads, but I wanted to chime in.

Mojo was the best mod over there period.

I remember when I PM'd you after pewter99 put me on moderation for posting a funny story in OT, and for those 15 days, only 2 of my posts were approved, and they took 9 hours each to get up there. All the posts I made during moderation were either A: helping people, or B: trying to buy something from a forum vendor.

There was nothing you could do, but you were respectful.

They definitely put a large nail in their coffin when they got rid of you.

I'm not banned from there (yet) but the only posts you will see from me is in C4 parts for sale.

Man this junk is getting expensive, and keeps going up, with no indication as of why.

I can't understand it, the economy is crap, there are no jobs to be had, the value of a dollar keeps slipping, but this stuff keeps going up and up and up.

I dun get it.

We all own corvettes, therefore we are all adults?

Bitching dosn't bother me, I like reading peoples opinions. I can see 1 topic overrunning the forums tho, a "Bitch about xxxx here" thread is a good idea. In fact, I've made several on other sites, and think I'm gonna make one here after I'm done with this post, not about that topic tho.

Flaming dosn't bother me, in fact, sometimes it provides great entertainment and info when 2 people go at it point/counter point style.

Pron, also does not bother me. I've seen plenty of bewbies and vagoo over my time, and don't mind it 1 bit. Cmon, fast cars and boobs. Give me a cold beer and we can call this forum "America"

So called "curse" words don't bother me a bit. They emphasize emotion in otherwise lifeless text.

the only things I don't like are spammers, hypocrites, and anyone with a "holier than thou" attitude in general. We are all adults, we are for the most part men, and we are all car guys.

As a website and as members, you really have nothing to worry about.

I'm a member is several websites that are about nothing but street racing.

Unless you get caught, and they are digging for evidence to use in a conviction. No one will really look.

Most of the street racing the people I know do is videotaped and is all over the net. These people have been doing it for years.

And no matter what stance people try to take, we've all done it, be it in our DD or our vette. A set up race, or sitting at a redlight wanting to embarrass that honda, or seeing what that Cobra really has under the hood.

Everything is as safe or dangerous as you make it, be it racing, or a commute to work through city traffic.

Ignoring it is worse than condoning it in my opinion, as it makes people look like a bunch of hypocrites.

you will have to remove the trim around the cargo area to get to the nuts that the other side of the strut fastens with.

Other than that its not a bad job if you have a friend to hold up the hatch for you.

I create my videos as Flash .swf and embedded them as Flash and it worked great.

The same thing UTube does to get a good progressive download of larger streams of information.

Here is an example:

If you are not Flash Savvy there are other products out there that will convert your video to .SWF

Ahh, if it were only that easy haha. I don't have the source video anymore, and was trying to embed it through youtube.

Couple issues, first HTML coding isn't working, but I saw that was brought up in another thread.

Also the video code isn't working either. It says I need to install a plugin on firefox, but no such plugin can be found, and on IE it just gives the red x.

HAHA! oh its on. The next time I see you.... I wont say anything cause you will beat me mercilessly.

Glad to see you here as well.

Now because of your advice I'm off to buy an airfoil, a tornado, and a 160* thermostat.

And thanks for the welcome Case and Bogus. I hope this place will keep me away from the dark side of the vette world.

beautiful work cuisinart.

On the vette, heads/cam/intake porting/long tubes/tune will be as far as I go on the engine.

I want to keep it where I can drive long trips without worry, and do some general cruising, while having some nice power. 400WHP is what I'm shooting for.

On my new street/strip toy.... well thats another story lol.

If it doesn't run 8's in the 1/4 when I'm done I'm gonna be mad.

I would stick with the HPS pads, the HP+ are only truly awesome when they get hot, very hot.

Another option is Carbotech but I think the HPS is better than the Panther, and their XP line is really expensive imho.

And damn excited to be here too. Special thanks to Casethecorvetteman for pointing me in the right direction.

I'll do all I can to share my knowledge with you all, and more than likely have a few laughs along the way.

And please. If I do something dumb, or want to do something dumb to my car. FLAME ME! The first person to say "to each his own" or "its what you like that matters" is gonna get e-slapped :thumbleft:
