anyone have a extra 87 lcd control panel working unit to donate or maybe let me have for a good deal?

well i followed all the steps and took apart my lcd display panel i found some bad solder joint and re soldered them i cleaned the circuit boards and reinstalled to my car nothing happed i give up trying to fix it i guess ill just save a little and buy one!

what does it mean when i can manualy lift my window up and down by hand, the motor turn when i hit the switch but the window does nothing it's like it is not attached to anything, could this mean i broke a window ribbon?????and how do i take my window apart is there a diagram for this? please help my corvette brother's......Serv

It's breezy here in Houston Tx 64 degrees, went to the Airshow Sunday and watched the thunderbird fighter jets put on a n awsome show, Got the new windshield in my 87 vette installed only $135 dollars at Low price auto glass in Pasadena Tx looks really good lined up nice and no wind noise or leaks. Today i get liability insurance and found that for 60 bucks down 40 dollars a month at aamco auto insurance can't wait to drive her to my first vette show!!!!

this might sound silly but , i feel a big differance on how my tire pressure is! changeing it 5.psi lower or higher might make it feel a lot less sluggish.

Ok im confused, im getting my front windshield replaced on my 87 coupe some of the places i call say to replace it i will need some additional molding on the top and a inner seal, but i called corvettes of houston and the tech told me the windshield is simply glued in, i dont need any additional seals and he seemed to be very experianced older tech he told me like 3 times all you need to do is glue it in. does any one else know something about this????

the paint i used was from pep boys auto is just a basic interior plastic vinyl spray paint can, but i suggest preping the piece with scotch brite pads or what you call fine steel wool and also clean evrything off with Acetone, then you will be ready to paint, be sure to shake every couple seconds and have a small rag to clean off the nozzle it will clog and splatter, note this is just a temp. fix that looks really good! until i buy my brand new door replacement's this is a 20 dollar fix that will hold me over till i save for the new door panels, but they do look really nice if done correctly. to any other regular person they will never know you painted them!!!

I GOT MY 87 VETTE WITH A BUMPER UPGRADE I BELIEVE A 94 STYLE BUT HAS SOME FIBERGLAS DAMAGE AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED SHOULD I GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL 87 BUMPER OR STAY WITH A UPGRADE AGAIN??? WHAT DO YA THINK?????

I OWNED A 99 HARDTOP THAT DIED IN A T-BONE WITH A DODGE TRUCK THAT TOOK A RED LIGHT AT AN INTERSECTION, I ACTUALLY FLIPPED THE TRUCK ON ITS SIDE AND MY CORVETTE SAVED MY LIFE IT IS TRULEY A SAFE CAR AND IT DID EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO. FRONT END TOTALLY DISINTEGRATED AND BLEW INTO PIECES, AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AND REALLY HELPED "AND NO IT DIDNT BURN MY FACE" I MISS MY BABY AND I AM IN THE MARKET FOR A C5 AGAIN A SOON AS I FINISH MY C4 RESTORE,
