I bought it as a spare a few years ago. Now that the Z has been sold I have no further need for it. It believe it fits all LT-1 and ZR-1 90-96 vetts. (it's the pump that is located in the bucket below the left headlamp and used to heat up the cats upon cold start up for emissions).
I paid $25 + shipping and I'll sell it for the same.

Thanks

Sold the Z? Oh man! Moved into something else?

Good price on the books, btw.

I got a hell of a deal on a new 2012 Grand Sport I couldn't pass up.

I sold my 94 ZR-1 and no longer have a need for these. They cover both the LT-1 and ZR-1 repairs for 1994 vettes. They are in great shape. Book 1 has the Red Cover. Book 2 was delivered in ''loose leaf'' and I keep that in a binder. Same books the dealer uses for repair. $35 + shipping from Redding Ca.

Pay special to the torque spec. As I *recall*, it can be the cause of other problems.

Hi all

I have had a quick search through the forums and although I found a couple of entries which addresses this I still seem unable to locate the clip - I found this useful info already

2nd - after button is removed look straight down at the shaft, there should be a "C-clip" holding the knob onto the shaft.A snap-ring tool is nice for this, but a couple of small picks or even a small head screwdriver will work.

I do not seem to be able to see one - is it down the shift pipe itself or in plain view once the button is removed?

This was also useful

Then stick a small screwdriver in the clip slot, and twist. Get another screwdriver in the back, and pull it out.

If anyone could guide me on how to find the clip I would greatly appreciate it

The snap ring should be in plain sight once the top black button is pryed up and removed. If the snap ring isn't there, you should be able to lift the shift knob off the ""shift pipe''since that is the only thing holding it on. If you bought the car from someone else, maybe he improperly reinstalled the knob using ?????? or???
Good luck

Thanx

You probably knicked one of the 2 O -rings on the install. Be sure to use a little oil on them before you put them on the injector and push them into the rail / intake. Very easy to screw up ...ask me how I know.

I'd sure like to lower mine. But I have heard that it can be a nightmare too. Your ride looks great.

I wondered where in the hell the big straps went....There is a lot of knowledge over here that departed......Can't we just all get a long???

I see the CF yanked my thread about locating Central Coaster. There were just honest comments in the thread. and they pulled it...WTF???

I know opinions vary but I have used Meguiers on my last 2 vets and swear by it. The Z gets nothing but compliments on the paint all the time. I guess if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

I sent a PM to Central Coaster and he answered all my questions. Thanks again.

I needed a few pointers so I don't make mistakes like some others have made in the past. CC has his sh*t together.

I agree that my post @ CF has raised more issues for such a simple request. Since I got my Z, I've been hanging out in the ZR 1 section over there almost exclusivly. I didn't even remember this site existed to be honest.
