... The green color is most likely an additive in the gas and not coolant ... the smoke might be from excess blow-by pressurizing the PCV vent tube on the Passenger side valve cover feeding oil mist into the throttle body and the intake ... this would cause a power loss as this additional air is not seen by the MAF sensor ... and oil in the combustion chamber will induce detonation causing the knock sensor and ESC to pull timing out .......

... Thanks for the links ... most of those have to do with WOT problems ... this one won't shift to 3rd if I'm more than 20-25% Throttle ... when it does shift its not slipping ... TCC works fine too ... I did replace all 3 shift solenoids and the EPC / force motor with no change in operation ... FWIW this is in my tow vehicle , '94 Suburban ... I also scanned the TPS and MAP sensors and they are fine ... MAP is new ... installed all new accumulator pistons ............

I have a '94 4L60E that won't shift into 3rd unless I completely lift off the throttle and wait for it ... all other D4 shifts are fine ... including downshifts from 4th to 3rd ... there is NO 3rd in D3 or by manually shifting from 2 ... I do get 3rd on a downshift from D4 to D3 ... I changed the shift solenoids , the force motor , all three accumulator pistons , and put in a new Transgo separator plate over the weekend ( the old plate was OK ) ... ANY ideas ? .......
