I'm about to make an offer here based on what I might be able to re-sell the hardware for, AFTER I get my own diagnostics complete...

The one thing I am not 100% sure of is if an OBDII scanner can actually scan an OBDI computer. Adapters or not, the computers speak different languages.
In our world, I know for a fact that the GM Tech II is what works... for earlier Vettes, the Tech I. I think the Tech I will work for all OBDI, and II is for early OBDII, I think it runs out of function on the the Tech IV came out. Oddly, I have never heard of a Tech III, never checked, either. I would head to the Vertronix website directly. Oh, I am pretty sure the modern Snap-On and Genetronix (sp?) are OBDI and OBDII compliant, and come with a number of cables and interface cards to make it world with multiple brands. That seems like a great price, too. |

There was WAY too many 'Watching', when I logged on, and the price WAS good. I also have a '98 GMC with ECC Module error - I KNOW it will give me THAT ONE. Already got FSM for that guy.
Might be a keeper regardless if no 'execute / 2 way comm's' to '90; we'll see here....... |
