Good Morning Gurus!

Well, there are a lot of new faces, and too many new posts for me to read them all these days. What a difference a week makes!

For you new folks, I had been starting off the day with my little chats, for one, because I felt like being friendly, and also because there was not a bunch of traffic on here, and I wanted to keep a conversation going.

But now there is a TON of stuff going on. So I'm not sure if I should keep the chat alive, or let it go. Basically it is a place to check in every morning and say hello. To let everyone know what's up in your world today. I will let ya'll decide if it is worth keeping. The poll runs for 10 days.

I am guessing it is "Back to work" for many of us. I sure did dig having some time off to recharge and play with some of my toys.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday.

It's been colder than a witch's teet around here the last week. I guess living in Colorado has spoiled me. When I lived in PA, we had four seasons. We only seem to have two in my part of Colorado. Summer and Winter. And now I don't like the winter... I think San Diego is the place for me. If I could afford to live comfortably in that part of the world, I would maybe consider moving.

So, what's up for today gentlemen?

It has been a week, hasn't it? ~125 new members, hit counts growing in leaps and bounds... damn... I donno what to say.

Except... it's back to work... I should be able to sneak a peak at Guru during the day, just don't expect me to be 10 minutes away with an answer!

Great place to dump day to day stuff. Cold front passed through last night and we are going to get colder tonight. Projected 39 degrees. That's cold for So Flo. The cars seem to like it though. Tightens them up like lemon juice on a ........ nevermind.....

Ok, so I am one of the "new" guys. But I voted to let it live.
At least it's something to read, and will help "break the ice" and get a conversation going.

That being said......... Christmas vacation was too short !!
And I hate winter too. :sad10:

Oh, and Tommy....... it was 4 degrees in Rolla this morning.

Tommy t Bone stated: "Tightens them up like lemon juice on a ........ nevermind...." are you refering to Salty Dogs perhapse? This AM it was 18 degrees here in the Augusta area commonly known as the CSRA..... Supposed to get a bit colder tonight bbbrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is the first time I've even been aware of this. But I certainly see nothing wrong with it. Like anything else, if someone's interested in it, they can contribute. If not, there are plenty of other things to do around here.
