Got home Friday. Was planning on spending another night in the Denver area, but our friends had to go back to Kansas for a funeral, so we decided to just cannonball back home. Left Dubois, WY @ 7am MT and got home 6:56pm CT, 11 hours and 752 miles.

#2, who had been watching the house for us called and said, apparently when she came over the night before to turn on the AC a cat got in the garage without her knowing it and got shut in. When she came back 24 hours later and opened the garage door, the cat came shooting out. It had sh!t all over, p!ssed all over my pickup, smelling horrible. She scraped the sh!t up and washed it out the best she could, but still smelled pretty bad. So after unloading and putting stuff up, I got the pressure washer out and cleaned the floor all off/ All this after dark. Yesterday morning it smelled better, but the cat p!ss on the truck still smelled bad. I did wash the Caddy, but thought it better to just run the pickup through the local auto wash. Haven't been out to the garage this morning, but hoping the smell is gone. I hate cats almost as much as I hate f@*king plumbing.

ahh...the old cat locked in the garage deal.... could have been a lot worse I'm thinking.... don't mind barn cats or under the porch cats...they have a job to do.... house cats not so much...

not much going on here ... September is a slow month but I can only take so much sitting around... even working on the C5 is getting to be like work. Being cloudy a lot doesn't help either... I need to go out and look at some corn..that always cheers me up....

you know what also cheers me up? Bacon.... I have the bread the tomatoes and the bacon... slather that up wid some mayonnaise and lunch will be served.

eat bacon Guru's
