Ford Won't Sell 65-MPG Fiesta in US
http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a ... 5-mpg-fiesta-in-us/164929 Quote: (Sep. 8) - If ever there was a car made for the times, this would seem to be it: a sporty subcompact that seats five, offers a navigation system, and gets a whopping 65 miles to the gallon. Oh yes, and the car is made by Ford Motor , known widely for lumbering gas hogs. |

That's a shame. A car that has the potential to help save a company and they refuse to import it. Good management decision there???

So then import the engines and assemble the cars in one of your existing undercapacity Mexico plants you dolts.
Sad that they can't compete on their own soil. And where are all the damn 1/2 ton diesel trucks? |

Here's the dirty little secret.
Diesel is MORE EXPENSIVE than gas by about $1 a gallon because of the liberals sticking it to "the man". That $1 is taxes since "business" uses diesels, they are taxing business, or so they say. |

There is no such thing as taxing businesses. Those businesses pass the costs directly on to the consumer. So that consumer buys less stuff.
How is that good for the economy again? |
