My 90 came with a $22.00 G92 performance axle ratio. The build sheet shows both the G44 and the G92. Both are listed as 3.07's. I am confused.

Is is not a identifier of the actual ratio In the case of auto C4's ; 3.07 was the only optional ratio available so G92 is commonly confused as being for that ratio.In other GM lines there may be more than one G92 option ratio available And for the pedantic out; there only other G92 C4 ratio was the 3.31 available in '84 on the 4+3 cars .410 had this option |
