Did Chevy ever contract with Mahle? I sold the pistons to DB, from my rotating assembly. When I disassembled the block I did not pay any attention to the pistons. We noticed that they are Mahle. DB, is going to check the p/n. Everything else in the block checks out as GM stock parts.

Yes quite a bit still do today along with Porsche and a number of others.

A friend of mine took a dudes weedeater apart (Echo, IIRC) and it had a Mahle piston in it! Cute little thing, too.
