I came across some wheels from a 2000 C5 and was wondering if they would work on a 1985. The wheels are 17in front and 18in rear.

They will work with adapters, otherwise they will sit inboard a bit and look funny.

Ideally, you'd want a 1" in rear and 1.25" in front to get back to the stock Z51 stance. 1.25" rear should fit fine also. If these aren't oem wheels, the adapters should be thicker than the studs are long, which is normally 1-1/8". If oem wheel castings, it doesn't matter.

I recommend a hub centric adapter:
