i think i know why they called it that,,,i have a nice light show under my water pump,, and a snapping, i think i found why i have a skip, now i need to climb under to see if i can see whats going on,or is it a feel whats loose thing?

If you're seeing sparks in a dark engine bay, I would suspect the ignition wires before I would suspect the opti. Either way, digging in to it will show you where the fault lies.

Let us know what you find, please.

I had a new coil wire back itself off the cap! Silicone grease them boots and try and purge any air trapped in the boot when you put it on.

Yeah, probably but not very good. It could be bad wires too.

end of plugwire burned off,, wasen`t pluged in all the way, and been that way for a while, SO replace wires and cap,, :silent:

That sounds like the boots pushed themselves off, like I said silicone grease the insides of the boots and make sure they are purged of air or It'll happen again. If you haven't done the wires before pull the front wheels and fender wells. It'll make it easier to change them out. Not exactly "Swear-Free" but it cuts down the explectives! I had to Dremel the AC mount bracket to sneak the drivers side wires through. Have fun
