I hate to brag but I will. Our club newsletter editor Jon Thorn does a great job with our newsletter and it just gets better all the time. This past month Jon wrote a summary of his trip to Sebring and then on page 34 wrote an interesting article about his visit with Dr. Dick Thompson one of the founders of our club in 1956 and one of the original Corvette Racing drivers.

If you are so inclined to check out these articles I think you will enjoy both the Sebring review and the visit with Dick Thompson.

I post it here first as I think the NCM wants to re-publish in their magazine.

Very nicely done. I pretty much read the whole issue. Thanks for submitting that Don.

Tommy - Glad you enjoyed it. I really have a very special relationship with the club and the membership. I have spent many years having fun getting to know everyone and even helping to shape it into what it has become today. Regretfully, my new job has really cut down on my participation in club government and activities but it is in good hands now and I'm taking a back seat to most of the club governance but still trying to do the fun stuff when I can!!

I really wanted to make that Sebring trip but just couldn't pull it off. My good buddies Jim and Jon and a few others made it down so I get to live vicariously through their exploits.

Newsletter: understatement of the year.
Silver Springs looks like a lot of fun.

That is not a newsletter. That is a publication. Mr Thorn should be proud of that work. It is, by far, the best "newsletter" I have ever seen for a club. Period. End of story.

I can't laud it enough!

I hope you can make Sebring next year, Don, I think you would have a blast! It is a shame I had no way of knowing who your people were, so we could connect! That woulda been fun!

I hope next year that hotels won't require the crew to caravan to and from Arcadia! That's a haul!

As an aside, if anyone is coming down the 75 in FL, another nice museum is at the University of Florida - the Florida Natural History Museum, in Gainesville. I need to post pics.
