Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

well for $200 these are pretty nice. Not a perfect fit but I tweaked them. Bought some new foam as well. One side down. Black with lite blue stitching.

Any pictures of these installed yet? Opinions on quality? Are they leather or vinyl?

I am looking to change mine.

vinyl, pretty good quality, not a perfect fit so they will need some tweaking. these are NOT covers they are skins. they are hog ringed on new seat foam.

Give me an idea of the tweaking involved. Any pics installed? I plan on getting new seat skins. I have found a couple sets in the $400 range on ebay, I didn't see those.

Al Knoch is just too pricey for me and vinyl will hold up better then leather.

I've been looking around for seat skins to replace mine. These are by far the cheapest out there. I found a couple more on ebay in the $350 range and up. Of course you can go top of the line with Al Knoch for $750 or so, but that's crazy to me. I don't need real leather, vinyl is fine for me. The seat skins above are claimed to be "synthetic leather". I've seen a few pictures posted on various sites since they sell them for lexus, mazda, etc. Looks like decent quality with some wrinkles in the material (poor stitching, I guess?).

I still think I'd like to give these a shot. Apparently you can order them with a perforated center, too, which I want.

BJZ - how do you like them so far?

Matthew

Oh, and apparently the guy is in Texas but everything ships straight from China and takes about 3 weeks. Supposedly contact/customer service is so-so.

Here is his ebay profile, although some people have said he has changed his name or may have more than one seller id.

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI ... =AllFeedback&myworld=true

What one guy said:

"The company is based out of Houston, TX, and they appear to operate under two ebay stores, I bought my seat through the store called realleather1 and the ebay seller name is leather-seats. The other ebay store name is leatherseats and the ebay seller name is lc-0801."

yes I mentioned that. Sorry for the delay. Putting in new carpet has been a pain in the arse. Didn't realize I was going to have to cut holes and trim. Anyway the side bolsters on the bottom and back covers needed to be stretched more for a tight look. Had to overlap it in the back alittle so the front didn't have wrinkles. I don't know if it was the skins or the seat cushions I bought of off ebay. Cushions cam in a mid america motorworks box(brand new). Don't know for sure but I made it work.
