istter1 ebay red cap dist under $70

been looking at these since I was in the pits at a race last weekend . The local are buying these for clay track racing and these are holding up well at 7000 rpm.

they are vacume advance

For my new 383 stroker I would like one of these but I haven't found one that is non vacume advance.

give me some advice on this . the price these guys are useing with coil cap berrings not bushing is under $50 delivered

lol had no plans on going 7000 rpm. just talking about being tough and in expensive. my other dist has some fire damage to wires.

If you have injection you are out of luck
EFI HEI dist is completely computer controlled ; not just non vac advance

What vetteoz said.

Summit & other vendors sell red caps & high output coils. The red caps will work on our screw on cap distributors with a quick modification. Whiz wheel the "L" off the spring loaded distributor lock on screw. Remove the remaining pieces, use the hold down screws from your current distributor.

If you buy this dist the cap coil and rotor with free shipping are $39 I can't buy the orginal cap rotor for that price with a new coil,
