I think I got a steal, jealous ??
Corvette Clutch Slave Cylinder 1989-1990 OEM 10147948 for 63.75 Hopefully its as new as they say it is.

Pull it apart first and make sure the seal is installed correctly on the piston. The flare of the seal goes toward the fluid part of the cylinder.

Oh yeah, I intend on doing that. I know the history of this bad boy. ZF Doc has a good "How to" on this. I'll just put on the shelf until the present one dies. It already has some fluid gathering on the lower side. I'll be ready.

Well I took the slave apart, got some info from Bill at ZFDoc about the tear down. The piston was stuck and took a soaking of brake fluid and air pressure to get it out. The seal was on backwards, turned it around, and cleaned the interior light surface rust with 1000 grit sand paper. Reassembled and planning on putting the old retaining clip on top of the new clip for added strength. It should be good to go.
