Hey Guys,
I'd like to gauge interest in a kit that I have been working with Hardbar on, recently put on my car and think might be worth offering to others. The kit would replace the stock upper and lower trailing arms and camber rods with adjustable length links with spherical rod ends, like pictured here: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a196/turban65/C4tierod.jpg Now I know that there are kits like this already on the market, but Gary and I believe this one is superior because it replaces the jam nuts that are typically used to lock the rod ends in place with a clamp that tightens on the ends of the turnbuckle style link and rod end. This offers less chance of loosening and less damage to the threads on either the link or rod end. The kit would include: (2) upper trailing arm links (2) lower trailing arm links (2) camber rods (24) frame & knuckle spacers (4) locating plates for stock cam bolt locations This kit can utilize your stock 12 mm frame and 16 mm knuckle bolts or can be combined with an upgraded hardware kit that replaces the stock hardware with shoulder bolts that offer stronger mounting points that do not put any bolt threads in shear (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a196/turban65/shoulderbolt.jpg) The installed kit is pictured here on my car (93 coupe) http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a19 ... n65/rearsuspension001.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a19 ... n65/rearsuspension003.jpg All links would be red anodized aluminum with clear anodized aluminum clamps. Links and rod ends are high quality, American made :flag: components. The rod ends have steel bodies and balls and Teflon liners. An upgrade to heavy duty rod ends can also be had. Cost: Basic kit: $849 plus S&H Heavy duty rod end upgrade: $450 Hardware upgrade: $120 If you're interested in this, please post here or drop me a PM. I would need a minimum of 10 sets to offer the pricing above. If you have any questions just let me know. |

I need a set of trailing arms only, I already have the toe and camber rods.
Also, ask Gary how much replacement rod ends would be. I had to do a lot of research to replace the ones in my current set-up and they're pricey. PS I'd need the HD version... |

OK, I can make that work. I'm also working on getting the price down as I know it's more than what's currently available. I will keep this thread updated if I get any new info. Quote:
PM sent on the rod ends. |
