kelley drain holes?

the bracket that holds the hood latches,is their a drain hole to let water out? my drivers side filled up and i can not find the drain,on a 94 convertable,,, thanks..

I don't think mine does. You definitely don't want those filling up. They'll rust the latches shut and you'll snap the release cable. But one would drain right onto the firewall harness so they sell a kit with a tube to divert it.

What year? My 92 has the hole, it's located under the plate with 3 bolts that holds the hood cable. It's at the front of this plate and is about 1/2 covered up by the plate.

The stupid thing about this drain hole is that on the drivers side the water that comes out runs right over the battery. It's not a bad idea to check your frame below the battery for rust and corrosion from this. You can see into this area by pulling the 3 fenderwell screws and looking in there with a flashlight.
I redid that section of frame with epoxy primer and paint.

I don't know how to get to it. Maybe from above with a long bit?
